Desert Shores at Night (1)
Desert Shores at Night (1) The Breakwater Bridge beckons with subtle lighting from both sides at night. The green and red lights give nautical direction for which tunnel to pass through. With luck, there will be no Italian cruise ships.

Desert Shores at Night (2) This shot was commissioned professionally and shows how gorgeous the Community Center complex looks at night. This was taken from the deck of a patio home in the Racquet Club.

Desert Shores at Night (3) Welcome to Desert Shores, Nighttime Edition. The sign at the signature "Micro-Park" at the corner of Mariner and Regatta is the centerpiece of a group of subtly lighted stone pines, chaste trees and a winding path to a bench and boulders overlooking the corner of the lake.
Desert Shores at Night (4)
Desert Shores at Night (4) The Micro-Park glows invitingly at night, but our camera (and skills) have a hard time absorbing such a wide shot at a distance. With the water behind the trees, its charm is deep and unique.

Desert Shores at Night (5) Taken from the upstairs deck of one of the Racquet Club patio homes, this is a fun and different view of the Lakeside Center's jeweled glass domain.
Desert Shores at Night (5-1)
Desert Shores at Night (5-1) Taken from across Lake Jacqueline on the Racquet Club lakefront, the Lakeside Center Grand Garden is illuminated with the sounds of light jazz wafting across the water.
Desert Shores at Night (6)
Desert Shores at Night (6) A little farther to the north, the Lakeside Center looks like a warm, glowing cruise ship in the night. It's a seductive, nocturnal art piece for the community.
Desert Shores at Night (7)
Desert Shores at Night (7) The south end of the Lakeside Center merges seamlessly with the shoreline, an artwork in duplicate.
Desert Shores at Night (8)
Desert Shores at Night (8) The Community Center has an Acropolis-like feel as it merges with the lighting of the Lakeside Center to the right.
Desert Shores at Night (9)
Desert Shores at Night (9) The lights of Marche Bacchus sparkle with anticipation, wine, great food and dreamy music over the water.
Desert Shores at Night (10)
Desert Shores at Night (10) Marche Bacchus meets the Breakwater Bridge. During wedding and other events, the festive lights of the Heritage Garden connect the two.
Desert Shores at Night (11)
Desert Shores at Night (11) The front of the Lakeside Center looks like the entrance to a five-star hotel at night.
Desert Shores at Night (12)
Desert Shores at Night (12) No, it's not the Greenbrier in West Virginia. It's the spectacular entrance to Restaurant Row at the Lakeside Center.
Desert Shores at Night (13)
Desert Shores at Night (13) Garfield's restaurant couldn't look more inviting, and it only gets better with the ultra-classy nautical interior, the warm and inviting bar, the incredible food, the lake, the patios front and back ... and often, the music.
Desert Shores at Night (14)
Desert Shores at Night (14) Garfield's a little farther away...one shot is professional and the other amateur. We had to incorporate both to see if folks could tell.
Desert Shores at Night (15)
Desert Shores at Night (15) The full length of the Lakeside Center from Garfield's on the left to Marche Bacchus on the right through all the event centers in between is a jewel on a teardrop in the desert night. Nowhere else in Las Vegas touches this atmosphere.
Desert Shores at Night (16)
Desert Shores at Night (16) Garfield's and the Lakeside Grand Garden marry with food and entertainment during incomparable warm nights on the water. Be it Shakespeare or Jazz, it's always a blast. It's also classy and respectful to neighbors, the perfect combination.
Desert Shores at Night (17)
Desert Shores at Night (17) When a resident has an event at night, it's gorgeous and fun both for the revelers and the people on the other side. Events end by 10PM and the music, if any, is a soft joy on the lake.
Desert Shores at Night (18)
Desert Shores at Night (18) The camera doesn't really do it justice, but one of the GREAT things about Desert Shores is that its views are as mesmerizing at night as they are in daytime. That's a rarity, to say the least.
